Young Savers Certificates
Certificates of Deposit (CDs) provide an excellent way to increase your savings dollars with higher rates and longer terms. CDs offer a longer term and a higher interest investment with the flexibility of a variety of terms and rates.
For our younger members, age 21 and under, DuTrac offers a Young Savers CD starting with a $500 minimum deposit. The same terms and conditions as DuTrac’s regular CD program apply. You’ll find a selection of terms from 6 months up to 60 months to begin your young person on a great financial path.
You and your young person will have the peace of mind knowing that if something were to come up and you would require the funds, they may be withdrawn; however, a small penalty would apply.
