Since credit unions are cooperatively owned, each savings deposit account is referred to as a “share” account. While the term “share” may seem more like a stock purchase, it is not. It represents the portion of the credit union’s deposits that belong to you – your “share.”

Share Savings
This is your main Share Account that maintains your $5.00 membership at DuTrac Community Credit Union. It is also the account that provides a life savings benefit.

Sub-Share Accounts
If you would like to keep your savings dollars in separate accounts for whatever reason, a Sub-Share account is the answer. This type of account allows you to manage your money as you see fit. You can even set up automatic transfers or direct deposit into any of your accounts with DuTrac.

If you have further questions regarding DuTrac Community Credit Union’s products or services, please contact one of our highly qualified financial services consultants by e-mail at members@dutrac.org, in person at any of DuTrac’s convenient locations or by phone at (563) 582.1331, or (800) 475.1331.
