Gift yourself with a little extra cash for the holidays!
Stress a little less this holiday season with DuTrac’s Skip-a-Pay. Skip a loan payment in November or December and use the extra funds to shop, take a trip, catch up on other bills, or anything else you need to make your season merry and bright.
How does Skip-A-Pay work?
You can choose up to three different loans, and the month you want to skip the payment—November or December. Those payments are then added to the end of your loan term. Using Skip-a-Pay does not affect your credit rating. Interest will accrue during skipped months.
What loans are eligible for skipping?
The Skip-a-Pay program applies to all DuTrac loans except mortgages, home equity loans, credit cards or new loans. All loans must be current and your account in good standing. Loans with less than 12 months of payment history may not be eligible.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible, your loan must have been open for at least six months and be in good standing. You may not be eligible for other reasons, such as having an overdrawn DuTrac checking account or any circumstance the credit union deems derogatory related to your account.
Is there a fee?
There is a $30 fee for each loan.
What is the deadline to apply?
Apply by October 31, 2021 to skip your November payment(s) or by November 30, 2021 to skip your December payment(s).
I still have questions. Who can I contact?

By choosing “Skip-a-Pay” you agree that interest will continue to accrue during the “Skip-a-Pay” period; that by electing to “Skip-a-Pay” the total interest charge will increase and extend the time required to pay your loan(s) in full based on your required minimum monthly payment; that any distribution** will automatically stop and restart the following month. All request for the “Skip-a-Pay” promotion are subject to approval. All loans must be current and your account must be in good standing. Loans with less than 12 months of payment history may not be eligible for the “Skip-a-Pay” promotion. Loans secured by real estate, single payment notes, and credit cards are not eligible. GAP insurance may not cover skipped payments (refer to your GAP contract for details.) Autopay will not automatically stop from an account the borrower has at another financial institution. Autopay funds that would normally be applied to the loan would be deposited to their savings account at DuTrac for the month “Skip-a-Pay” is elected.
