Having established a Share Savings Account, you have the flexibility of making deposits, transfers and withdrawals at any time in a manner that suits your individual lifestyle. Plus, you earn dividends that are paid quarterly to accounts that maintain an average balance of $100 or more. Our tiered Share Savings Account program provides additional dividend yields for higher share savings balances.
All DuTrac Community Credit Union savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government and the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency).
Listed below are savings deposit products that may be of interest to you.
Share Savings Accounts
- This is your main Share Account that maintains your $5.00 membership in DuTrac Community Credit Union. It is also the account that provides a life savings benefit.
- Sub-Share Accounts
If you would like to keep your savings dollars in separate accounts for whatever reason, a Sub-Share account is the answer. This type of account allows you to manage your money as you see fit. You can even set up automatic transfers or direct deposit into any of your accounts with DuTrac.
Money Market Savings
If you have a minimum deposit of $2500 and want a return that is based on the average of the 13-week treasury bill, this account is just what you’re looking for. Tiered rates apply based on the account balance and are compounded daily and paid monthly.
Certificates of Deposit (CD)
Special CD rates and terms are offered periodically and will vary based on the market, competition and Credit Union needs. Standard terms for CDs are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 and 60 months.
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
Helps you save for retirement with big tax advantages. (Ask your tax consultant for more details.)
Health Savings Accounts
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are available for people with high deductible health plans. Our HSAs provide access via both checks and debit cards.
Club Accounts
Looking for a little help to save for Christmas or a vacation? Our Club Accounts are the perfect answers – and they earn dividends. Christmas Club accounts pay out each October, and Vacation Clubs in May.
