Congratulations to the quartet from Beckman Catholic High School, Dyersville, for winning DuTrac’s annual “Oh Say Can You Sing” National Anthem Showcase!
Besides the monetary prize, all Radio Dubuque stations featured the group’s rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner before the Fireworks and Air Show Spectacular on July 3.
A panel of impartial judges chose the winning recording based on vocal ability (rhythm/pitch/phrasing) harmony, melody, originality, punctuation, and clarity of intent.
